Das Jugend Solarprojekt
|

Das Projekt verfolgt den Aufbau einer Produktion von portablen Solarlampen in Kenia und deren Verkauf an Personen mit niedrigem Einkommen. Das Projekt startet gleichzeitig in den Kibera Slums in Nairobi und in der Schweiz mit dem Ziel hier “solares Lernen” zu fördern. Die Solarlampen werden als fairtrade Produkte verkauft.

| Unser Sommerprojekt "Solar soccer 2010" |
Die Fussball WM in Südafrika naht und Solafrica.ch hat sich für diesen Sommer ein freudvolles und visionäres Ziel gesetzt. Da der grösste Teil der armen Bevölkerung Afrikas selbst nicht die Möglichkeit hat in irgendeiner Weise an der Fussball WM 2010 teilzuhaben, soll mit „solar soccer“ Abhilfe geschaffen werden. „Solar soccer“ ist die kostenlose öffentliche Übertragung der Spiele in den Slums von Kibera, Afrikas grösstem Slum. Es wird die erste Übertragung dieser Art in der Geschichte überhaupt sein, denn alle verwendeten technischen Einrichtungen werden dabei ausschliesslich mit der lokal mitentwickelten und erzeugten Solartechnologie betrieben werden.

| Our summer project "Solar soccer 2010" |
| World soccer championship 2010 is approaching and africas citicans are joyfully expecting this event. For the first time in history ever this event takes place in their mother continent. Sadly. most africans wont’t have the opportunity to participate in any way in this event. Due to missing money for entering fees or a lack of electricity and infrastructure people will be locked out of this greatest sports happening. To fill this hurting gap Solafrica.ch has come to the idea of „solar soccer“. Solar soccer will be a unique project to offer a public viewing in africas biggest slum in Kibera/Nairobi Kenya. This will be a world novelty as the infrasstructure for the public viewing will be solely powered by solar panels an accumulators. |
